I am an award winning film and theater director who uses humor to push boundaries and social consciousness.
Since graduating from NYU, with a BFA in Film & Television Production, I have directed many short films and music videos, which have screened in a variety of film festivals. Two plays that I directed have won first place in theater festivals and I have since had the opportunity to collaborate with playwrights to adapt 3 plays into films. In 2013 I was highlighted as an “emerging filmmaker to watch” in Miramax’s blog and in 2016 I was the keynote speaker at the Visions Film Festival & Conference.
Currently, I freelance, producing and directing branded content and interactive audio experiences for an agency but I plan to shoot my debut feature film, “Someone to Watch,” (an unconventional thriller) in 2018. I am a proud member of the FilmmakeHers, a co-leader of The Filmshop and an activist for underrepresented voices in film.
