Whippersnapper Films is Jaclyn Gramigna as well as a select group of talented collaborators.

Jaclyn graduated from NYU with a BFA in Film & Television Production (2010). She is the founder of Whippersnapper Films and has written/directed 7 short films. Jaclyn won the Visions Film Festival & Conference and her film “Downtown” was a finalist in the Brooklyn Short Film Festival, Northside DIY Competition and was featured in the Short Film Corner at Cannes. In 2013 Jaclyn was highlighted as an "emerging filmmaker to watch" in Miramax's blog. She also directs theater having won first place in the 2013 Take Ten 1 Act Festival and in the 2014 New York New Works Theatre Festival. In 2014 she adapted her award winning play “Sleeping With Earrings On” into a short film and raised 166% of the budget via crowdfunding. Jaclyn has also received awards for her work in sound design and strives to make visceral films that turn reality on its head.

is an original short thriller by Jaclyn Gramigna. It can also be thought of as a teaser for her upcoming feature film, “Lightning.”
