Whippersnapper Films is Writer/Director/Producer, Jaclyn Gramigna, working with a talented group of collaborators primarily in NYC and LA. Jaclyn Gramigna graduated from NYU with a BFA in Film & Television Production (2010) and is the founder/Director of Whippersnapper Films. She has written and directed 7 short films which have screened in a variety of film festivals (winner of the Visions Film Festival & Conference and a finalist in the Brooklyn Short Film Festival and Northside Film Festival) as well as featured in the Short Film Corner at Cannes. In 2013 she was highlighted as an "emerging filmmaker to watch" in Miramax's blog. Jaclyn also directs theater and is 2 for 2, having won first place in the 2013 Take Ten 1 Act Festival and the 2014 New York New Works Theatre Festival. Recently, she was at the head of a very successful crowd funding campaign, having raised 166% of her short film’s budget. Jaclyn has also received quite a few awards for her work in sound design. She strives to make visceral films that make people laugh and turn reality on its head, leaving the audience with lingering thoughts and feelings.
